  • To comply with licensing regulations and maintain service standards, all food and beverages served on the premises must be prepared by the Vancouver Airport Marriott Hotel. Wedding cakes are permitted from outside vendors. In select cases, culturally specific dishes not prepared by the hotel may be approved in advance; waivers and additional service fees may apply.

  • All alcohol must be purchased and served by the hotel under its liquor license. Preferred brands or specific selections may be requested through approved suppliers, subject to availability and pricing.   • Beverages are charged based on actual consumption, with per-drink pricing listed on the catering menu. Standard pours apply. Shots and doubles must be requested in advance and approved by the Catering Manager. Alcohol service ends at 1:00 a.m. (12:00 a.m. on Sundays). A $150 + GST bartender fee applies if total bar consumption is under $500 net.

  • Room rental includes access for setup and teardown, room transitions from ceremony to reception, standard tables and chairs, black or white table linens, matching linen napkins, and professional banquet staff to manage all room setups.

  • Dinner buffets are typically available for up to 90 minutes and may not exceed two hours in accordance with FoodSafe regulations.

  • Food and beverage pricing is guaranteed 30 days prior to the event date. Menu pricing is based on a per-person rate unless otherwise specified. Children under six dine at no charge; children aged six to twelve are charged at half price.

  • Audiovisual equipment may be rented through the hotel’s in-house provider, Encore, to ensure seamless on-site support. Outside AV companies or client-supplied equipment are permitted; a $300 patch fee may apply.

  • SOCAN and Re:Sound fees are mandatory music licensing tariffs required when live or recorded copyrighted music is played during an event. Fees are based on the size of the function space, and details can be provided by your Events Manager.

  • We leave it up to each individual couple, however we do suggest a “Day of Coordinator” to assume all coordination and decision-making responsibilities on the day of your event so that you can enjoy the day and live in the moment! Your DOC can communicate with the Venue team to ensure a smooth event from beginning to end.
